Lots of plastic parts

Horrible experience

Bough this item and in less than a year the motor burnt out. LG customer service was horrible they set up a technician to come out then cancelled without letting me know. Took off time and spent almost 2 hours on the phone with them just to tell me that they couldnt do anything for me. Never purchasing another LG product and I always tell everyone how horrible they are . If I could give 0 stars I would. Just the most horrible experience with an appliance.

Good price poor instrutions

I am happy with the size and what appears to be a well built machine. I am not happy with the poor instructions and confusing operating display. The instructions reference buttons that are not on my machine. I have been unable to date to figure out how increase drying time or raise the heat. It does dry the clothes but on occasion I have to run the machine a second time so it seems that the dry sensor isnt working just right.

We purchased this dryer and after installation there were some problems. First the clothes came out wet even though the indicator said the cycle was finished. Second when the drum rotated there was an annoying squeak. I contacted the store Lowes and we got a new dryer and it works like a charm. Faster drying times than we expected. A full load of towels dried in less than 40 minutes.

Gas line connects at far right of the dryer had it been on far left it could have traded positions with washer. In any case dryer door can be mounted on left or right side.

I bought this a little over a month ago and I still have yet to be able to actually use it. Im on LPG not natural gas and when the dryer arrived I scheduled a technician from our local gas company to come and install the conversion kit. Upon opening the machine he discovered that the ignition coil was broken off and just kinda sitting inside the machine. I bought it at Lowes and they passed me off to LG for service. Im still waiting for the machine to be fixed a month later. I think this will be the last LG I buy.

This dryer replaces a 15-year-old LG dryer. Its larger and smarter than the previous LG which shows the benefit of LGs increasing experience building such products. The bottom line is were very happy with our choice.

Drying time is a disappointment

The dryer has the basic functions we need but weve been disappointed that loads dont always come out dry and that drying times take so long. A feature missing for us is an optional chime to signal a cycles end. Thankfully it does have a reversible door unlike its paired washer WM3400CW.
